Eibar win 3-0 against Barakaldo at Lasesarre
Two goals from Quique and one from Aketxe give Los Armeros victory over Barakaldo
A brace from Quique and a second-half goal from Aketxe secured a 3-0 victory for Eibar against Barakaldo in Los Armeros’ third pre-season game, which took place at Lasesarre.
The first goal came with the opening piece of action of the game. Arbilla won the ball in midfield and immediately advanced a few metres to set up Quique, who scored from inside the box with a powerful left-footed shot.
In the 19th minute, it became a 2-0 lead for the visitors and it was Quique again. This time he received a pass from Rahmani from the wing and scored with a low shot, again off his left foot.
Joseba Etxeberria’s side dominated the game throughout and had several chances to extend their lead against a Segunda RFEF side playing their first pre-season game.
The third goal arrived in the 61st minute when Ager Aketxe’ impressive freekick from some 30 metres out flew into the top corner of the net.
Eibar kept pushing in the final moments, but the scoreline remained unchanged. Los Armeros will now play their fourth pre-season game on Thursday at Las Llanas (Sestao) against Athletic Club.
