Esperanza Pizarro renueva con la SD Eibar hasta junio de 2025
The Uruguayan player joined Las Armeras in July 2022 and was part of the team that won promotion to the top flight
Esperanza Pizarro has reached an agreement with SD Eibar to extend her contract for a further season, meaning it’ll now run until June 2025. The Uruguayan forward joined the SD Eibar women’s first team in July 2022 from Santa Teresa de Badajoz.
Pizarro was then part of last season’s promotion-winning squad, which climbed into Liga F. She played 22 games, accumulating a total of 1,238 minutes and scoring two decisive goals in the final stretch of that season.
This campaign she has been a key player for coach Yerai Martin. In the top flight, she has been a starter in all league games, playing more than 1,400 minutes. In addition, she has scored two goals and provided three assists in the 18 matches that have been played so far.
