Eibar suffer narrow defeat to Burgos CF (0-1)

A goal by Fer Niño in the 82nd minute gave the away team the victory

Eibar were narrowly defeated by Burgos CF. The visitors took all three points thanks to a goal from Fer Niño in one of the few chances of the game.

The start of the match was very evenly matched between the two sides, with both looking to create dangerous chances and take control of the game. As the minutes ticked by, Eibar took a step forward and took control of the game.

Despite the efforts of Joseba Etxeberria's side, the first half ended without any clear-cut chances. The clearest chance fell to the visitors on the half-hour mark when a shot from outside the area was deflected behind for a corner by goalkeeper Luca.

Eibar kept trying, but despite controlling possession, the Armeros were unable to get close to their opponents' goal. The first half came to an end with the scores level.

In the second half, both teams came out well organized and did a good job defensively, making it difficult for the Armeros to get close to their opponents' penalty area. The clearest Eibar chance came from Mario Soriano's shot from inside the area, which was blocked by the Burgos CF defense.

The only goal of the game came in the 82nd minute, when Fer Niño scored to make it 0-1 in one of the few chances of the game.
