Sergio León, new Eibar player
The striker from Cordoba arrives on a free transfer from Elche
Sergio León has joined Eibar after reaching an agreement which ties him to the club until June this year, with an option to extend his contract for a further season.
The Cordoba-born striker, who was born in Palma del Río 35 years ago, joins Eibar on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Elche.
The experienced attacker has made 416 appearances and scored 123 goals since his debut in professional football in 2009.
The new player has 159 appearances and 30 goals in Primera División (Osasuna, Betis, Levante and Valladolid). In Segunda División, he has played 126 games and scored 40 goals during his time in this category at Murcia, Llagostera, Valladolid and Elche.
Sergio León, who underwent a medical on Thursday and met his new teammates, is now under the orders of Joseba Etxeberria.
