Noelia García renews her contract with SD Eibar for another season
The goalkeeper signs for what will be her fifth season with SD Eibar
Goalkeeper Noelia García has renewed her contract with SD Eibar for another season, signing for what will be her fifth season with the club.
Noelia arrived at Eibar in the 2020-2021 season, a year in which the team competed in the first division. She remained with the team despite relegation, and was part of last year's achievement of returning to the top flight.
Although in that season she had to deal with an injury in the latter part of the season, her good numbers were enough to earn her the title of the goalkeeper with the fewest goals conceded in the division in 2022-2023.
The Igualada-born keeper enters her fifth season at SD Eibar with almost 50 appearances to her name, clocking up more than 4,000 minutes on the pitch.
This year, she will once again share the goal with María Miralles, who has been re-signed along with teammates Laura Camino, Espe Pizarro, Arene Altonaga, Ane Campos and Andrea Sierra, as well as coach Yerai Martin. It reflects a clear commitment on the part of players and club to continue with the project that has given promotion and survival to the women's first team.
