Fully-fit SD Eibar squad resume training
Following on from the international break, the Armeros are now preparing for Sunday's encounter against Granada
SD Eibar are today set to return to the training pitches at Atxabalpe at 17:00, and they do so with a fully-fit squad after the club last week completed the signings of Fran Rico, Nano and Anaitz Arbilla.
The three new recruits have already made their Eibar debuts and the trio put in encouraging displays in last Thursday's friendly clash in Barreda (Cantabria) against Sporting Gijón in a game which ended in a 1-1 stalemate. José Luis Mendilibar will lead sessions at Atxabalpe on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, all of which will get underway at 10:30 CET. Meanwhile, the players will be given Thursday off.
The team are set to travel to Granada on Saturday afternoon ahead of Sunday's game at the Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes (18:15 CET), a ground at which Eibar have claimed a win and a draw on their recent visits.
The Armeros will be looking to once again put points on the board after running out 1-0 winners over Valencia - a side that Eibar had never previously beaten in the top flight -on Matchday 2 of the La Liga season at Ipurua, a victory secured courtesy of a Pedro León strike.
Eibar opened their league campaign in A Coruña with a 2-1 reverse (after having taken the lead through an Iván Ramis header), as Riazor once again proved to be an unhappy hunting ground for the Armeros, who have slipped to defeat in each of their away games against Depor in the last three seasons.
