Eibar bring in Amaia Peña and Eider Arana on loan from Athletic Club
The goalkeeper from Bizkaia already played for Eibar in 2021-22
Eibar have signed goalkeeper Amaia Peña and defender Eider Arana for their women's first team, both on season-long loans from Athletic Club.
Amaia Peña, born in Portugalete and 24 years of age, has experience as an Armeros player, as she was part of the Eibar squad that played in the top flight in the 2021-22 season, in which she made seven appearances.
Brought through the youth system at Pauldarrak, she joined Athletic in 2014 and between 2016 and 2020 she played at the University of Pittsburgh (United States). This season she has played three games with Athletic's first team.
Eider Arana is 21 years old and a native of Loiu, plays as a left-sided central defender and has been in Athletic’s youth academy since 2017, when she arrived from Bizkerre. In the current season, she has played 27 games for Athletic B, all of them as a starter, and has scored two goals.
