Defender Stefan Simic and striker Yacine Qasmi, new Eibar players
Both will meet their new teammates on Wednesday and will be presented at Ipurua
Czech central defender Stefan Simic and French-Moroccan centre forward Yacine Qasmi are new Eibar players and will be presented tomorrow at Ipurua after meeting their new teammates.
Simic (Prague, 1995) has been playing for Hajduk Split in Croatia since 2019. He previously played for AC Milan, Crotone and Frosinone, all in the Italian Serie A.
He signs for the remainder of the season plus an option to extend for another season and has been capped at all levels, including senior, with the Czech Republic national team.
Yacine Qasmi, born in Pontoise (France) and with dual French and Moroccan nationality, is a 32-year-old centre forward with extensive experience in Segunda División, where he has played since 2018 for Elche, Rayo Vallecano and Leganés.
The new Eibar striker, who signs until the end of the current season, began his professional career in the youth ranks at PSG and subsequently played for several Segunda B sides before signing for Elche in 2018. He was an international with Morocco in the U20 and U23 national teams.
Both players will train on Wednesday at Atxabalpe with their new teammates and will later be presented in the Ipurua press room, accompanied by the club's Sporting Director, César Palacios.
