Bebé “Eibar has always been a good team, with good supporters to enjoy and a good place to show what I can do”
Tiago Manuel Días, Bebé, has signed from Benfica for the next 4 seasons
Club Deputy Director, José María Arrizabalaga, announced the presentation of this sought-after player and explained the details of his transfer “Eibar has one hundred percent of his federative rights and fifty percent of the economic rights. It has been complicated but we are happy to have achieved it. We want to wish him the best and that Eibar will be the team where this player, who has been at a lot of clubs, establishes himself”.
Sporting Director, Fran Garagarza, confirmed the words of the Club’s Director saying “He was the player we wanted. It has taken us a lot to do it. There is an investment aspect to it because what we have is a long-term approach. As a player he is an asset since this way we don’t need to make so many signings every season. There are convincing arguments to suggest that the risk is reduced with this type of approach”.
Facing the media, the Portuguese player showed his satisfaction at being in the armero team “I made this decision because I felt that the club really wanted me and it is a stable, well-structured team. I am here to help Eibar achieve their goals and mine, and I am sure that I’m going to be very happy”.
