Anaitz Arbilla joins SD Eibar on a three-year deal
The Navarran-born defender will be officially unveiled at Ipurua tomorrow
Anaitz Arbilla has signed a three-year deal at SD Eibar after successfully coming through his medical, which was conducted at the club's official medical provider, IMQ.
Arbilla (Pamplona, 1987), who joins the club from RCD Espanyol, is a right-footed defender who is able to operate in several positions across the backline. He spent the last two seasons with Espanyol, although last term his role was restricted by a tendon injury, from which he has made a fully recovery.
In terms of career to date, Arbilla has plied his trade in the Spanish top flight for the past four seasons (two at Rayo Vallecano and two at Espanyol), racking up a total of 76 appearances and two goals in that time.
Eibar's latest signing is set to join up with his new teammates for training tomorrow under the orders of José Luis Mendilibar and will also be officially unveiled at 13:00 CET at Ipurua.
